National Award for Our Website!
June 13, 2011

Well, how 'bout that! The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) selected our website as the Website of the Week, citing our overall tone and content, and in particular the Prez Peg Cage's articles in Cage's Corner, the Events Page, the Precint Tools, and our Members-Only Section (Peg Cage gave them quick, temporary access to it.) They gave kudos to us (the prez and the webmaster) and we give kudos to our FABULOUS MEMBERS for their inspiration! Read all about it on the NFRW site here.

LRW new website launched in January, 2011.

Peggy Knight volunteered her time and talents to create a fabulous website for LRW.  The site is actually three sites:  the public site, the members-only site, and the authors' workroom site where the President, Secretary, and Treasurer all are able to add content, update financial records, and more.

Would you like to use the site to keep folks apprised of key events such as Colorado general assembly committee meetings we should attend?  Are there other ways you want us to take action?  Let me know!  We can arrange it so you can add the content yourself or we can add it.  This new website is a great tool for getting the word out and taking action!

Liberty Groups

Choose a Group!  Choose a Cause!

We encourage Members to be active in organizations they think are effective in returning our country to liberty and fiscal responsibility. It's hard to pick one or two from so many great organizations.  Here is a short list of organizations that have great reputations. It surely is not an exhaustive list though. If you want us to list others, let us know! Another thought: Give your time and talent if you can, but if that's a challenge, know that your monetary donations really help these groups. To donate, just go to their websites.

Show up!  Get in the habit of going to the hearings at the Colorado State Capitol.

From the Liberty Watch Newsletter, Issue Date: 4-24-11

Between now and May 11th the end of the session there is much to be done and you can be sure that things are going to get crazy!!  What the legislators, the leadership are saying is that while the emails matter some, the fact that citizens (YOU) are not at the hearings matters more and so they don't really believe that you care.  PROVE THEM WRONG!  Whether you agree with all of our recommendations does not matter, what matters is that you come to the hearings and make YOUR position known to the legislators.

Preserving and maintaining a Republic requires vigilance to principle, staying informed and most important participating!!  See you at the Capital this week
